New Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 and 718 Spyder 2019

Porsche has introduced two new models - 718 Cayman GT4 and 718 Spyder. New GT4 is now 4.0L flat-six engine and it produces 420hp. It's 35hp more then it's predecessor. Something about performance tells it's more than 10 seconds faster in Nürburgring than old model and topspeed is now 304km/h. Gearbox is manual, but PDK will be available later.

718 Spyder is now also real GT car and it shares most of the tech with GT4. Spyder looks great no matter is roof down or up.

Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo - New Lap Record 5:19,546 in Nordschleife

Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo is the new king in Nordschleife. New record was done today on 29th of June 2018 and time is 5:19,546!

Porsche 911 GT2 RS world record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife

Porsche did it, what has been rumored. On September 20th new 911 GT2 set a new record for road-approved sports cars on the 20.6km Nordschleife. New record time is now 6min 47.3 sec.

The New Porsche 911 GT2 RS

Porsche 911 GT2 RS is finally here and numbers are of course the top of the line. Engine is 3.8L twin-turbo flat-six and it produces 700hp and 750Nm. Acceleration from 0-100km/h is 2.8s and top speed is 340km/h.

Interesting to see first test drives of this machine. GT2 RS is anyway the real hardcore version of 911.

I wrote first time in March regarding the new Porsche 911 GT3 when it was just released. Now there are available also the reviews and test drive.

I'm big fan of Jethro Bovingdon and he has done also good job with the new GT3. Here is his review on the track.

New Porsche 911 GT3 - Also with Manual

Welcome new Porsche 911 GT3. New model has normally aspirated 4.0L engine and redline is in 9000rpm producing 500hp/493bhp.  GT3 is now available with 7-speed PDK and also 6-speed manual gearbox. Old GT3 was PDK only.

New GT3 looks absolutely beautiful. Waiting to see the first tests. Also interesting to see what will happens for 911R prices, because new GT3 will be available also with manual.

Porsche Factory

Have you ever visited in car factory? I visited few years ago in Toyota factory in Toyota City in Japan. It's very interesting to see how cars are manufactured. Assembly lines, robots, testing, etc. Here is a video from Porsche factory, where all the magic happens before customers get their cars.

If you can do car factory visit it's worth to do it.

Track Battle: Porsche 911 Turbo S vs. Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Porsche has many interesting and fast 911 models. Turbo S is all-wheel drive with twin-turbo flat six engine and it's real do it all super car. GT3 RS is a track weapon, which has naturally aspirated flat six. Which one of these awesome models is faster on the track?

2017 New Porsche 911 GTS Review

The New Porsche 911 GTS Models

Porsche has revealed the new 911 GTS models. The GTS will be available also as a Targa and Cabriolet. Engine is twin-turbo and it produces 450HP and 550Nm of torque.

Looks very good! That's also one new Porsche again, which would be nice to have in a garage.

McLaren tests road cars on snow in Finland

Many car manufacturers in Europe do the winter tests in Finland. Famous winter testing places are especially Levi and Ivalo in Lapland area. McLaren do the winter tests in Ivalo, when for example Porsche do the tests and also arranges Porsche driving experience on snow in Levi.

Looks like 570S goes nicely on snow, when using good tires.

Rimac is still pretty new car company and many people hasn't heard about it yet. The car has very advanced technology and it's very impressive.

Acceleration 0-60MPH: About 2.5 sec.
Topspeed: 220 MPH / 354 KMH

Porsche 911R vs. Aston Martin V12 Vantage S

Chris Harris compares Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and new, but already legendary Porsche 911R. I wrote earlier about 911R, where is also interview of Andreas Preuninger, who is head of Porsche GT cars.

Chris drives in this comparison the cars also on the race track, so it mean lot's of power slide. And like always, rubber is cheap, when Chris is behind the wheels.
