Porsche Factory

Tachometer | Porsche factory

Have you ever visited in car factory? I visited few years ago in Toyota factory in Toyota City in Japan. It's very interesting to see how cars are manufactured. Assembly lines, robots, testing, etc. Here is a video from Porsche factory, where all the magic happens before customers get their cars.

If you can do car factory visit it's worth to do it.

Many car manufacturers in Europe do the winter tests in Finland. Famous winter testing places are especially Levi and Ivalo in Lapland area. McLaren do the winter tests in Ivalo, when for example Porsche do the tests and also arranges Porsche driving experience on snow in Levi.

Here is a video clip from McLaren winter tests.

Looks like 570S goes nicely on snow, when using good tires.

Ferrari 488 Spider Review

If new Ferrari 488 is good looking car, 488 Spider looks even better.

Many people have said 488 with turbo engine doesn't sound so good, than 458 naturally aspirated engine. I disagree. I think 488 sounds even better.

Ex-WRC rally driver Harri Rovanperä's son Kalle has been driving rally cars already since he was 8 years old. This clip was filmed 2 years a go, when he was 13 years old. Kalle gives a ride for his co-driver, what she will not forget for ever.

Kalle drove also this year in january his first 4WD race using Skoda Fabia S2000, which he won more than 1 minute margin to second one. He has already proved his potential to become a possible future rally champion.

Manila Bumber to Bumber XI

Manila, Philippines. This weekend was held Bumber to Bumber XI car event in Manila. The place was on the concert grounds of SM Mall of Asia.

Event:  Bumber to Bumber XI
Venue: Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, Pasay, Metro-Manila, Philippines
Date:   5 - 6th of December, 2015

Near the entrance was two Mustangs. Especially the red color looked awesome on live.
Good looking Honda.
This Honda was built also with style.
Corvette Roadster.
Ford Fiesta with carbon fiber.
Also truck can be tuned.
Seriously? How about to your car?
Toyota with green chrome wrap film.
Something elder. Toyota Land Cruiser.
Bigger wheels to Hummer. Look at that profile!
Chevrolet had own tent in the event. New Camaro looks pretty nice especially with the good tapes.
Model posing.
Nissan Kube is popular car model for tuning.
Many Kubes have air suspension, when the car can be lowered to the ground. Here some air suspension equipment in the trunk.
There was also some car audio.
Can you hear me?
I was just taking a photo, when the owner decided to demonstrate the loudspeakers. Yeap, it was loud enough.
This was only a small sample about the cars what was in the event. So lots of tuned cars again.

Mika

Event:  Manila Auto Salon
Venue: SMX Convention Center, Pasay, Metro-Manila, Philippines
Date:   12 - 15th of November, 2015

Near the entrance was this matte black Hot Rod.
Nicely restored old pick up truck.
This pick up looked also great.
Girls posing.
There was also few new sports cars, which were tuned like this Ferrari 458 Italia with LB Works Bodykit and air suspension.
Ferrari 458 Italia with LB Works Bodykit.
The meaneast of the day was this Corvette. It looked like some stealth fighter!
The color was just perfect for it.
Sports cars like Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborchini are quite common in Manila, but McLaren is not yet. In fact this was first McLaren what I have seen in Philippines during last few years. Model is 12C Spider.
Toyota GT86 is popular car model for tuning in Philippines. There was also several cars in this event. I talked with the owner of this car and engine has got the turbo charger. Stock version has 200hp, but with turbo it has now 400hp using ethanol and normal gasoline 360hp. Owner uses the car every day. Color looks also awesome.
Smile!
New Mustang is also common in Manila.
This Lexus RC350 looks also great.
Tuned Mini Countryman S.
Premier Condoms girls.
There was also lots of pick ups in the event. Bigger wheels, higher suspension and better ground clearance.
No problems in the ground clearance.
Doors open and let's start the party!
Do you want Ferrari clock to you table?
One, Two...Smile!
That kind of Manila Auto Salon this time. Something new on this year were the LB Works Bodykits. Other wise the event was quite similar like last year.

Mika

Tornio Traditional Motor Event 2015

Tornio, Finland. Real Motor Event has held already several years in Tornio. This year was no exception. Feeling in the event is very easy-going. Here is something what the event offered this time.

Event:  TornioTraditional Motor Event 2015
Venue: Toranda, Tornio, Finland
Date:   25 - 26th of July 2015
Ticket: Free Admission

Citroen B11 1949 styling is just beautiful.
Here is another Citroen B11, but this model is 1954.
Buick Special Business Coupe 1937 looks like cars in the old gangster movies.
One of the most interesting old classic was this white Mercedes 170.
Austin A7 1932 doesn´t belong to biggest car of the time.
Army style Zündapp KS 750 1943 with machine-gun.
Java was ones very common motorcycle in Finland. This model is 1957.
Güldner 1958. I have never heard anything about Güldner before.
Stationary engines were in the big role in the event.
It was interesting to watch the demonstration how the old engines really work.
Gentleman with the Rudge High Wheel 1889. It doesn´t look the most easiest bike to ride.
Tornio Traditional Motor Event is very intersting event to visit. You never know what you will see it. One thing is anyway for sure. You will have wide smile when you watch the demonstration of the old engines.

Regards,
Mika
